This really isn’t a bad idea. Sod the rules, WotC, we have plenty of rules. Just bring out all the old adventures again, all of them, from every edition. Bring out bumper hardback Dungeon compilations. Tidy them up and redesign them if necessary, like Zak’s remake of the Borderlands map. Then when all the old adventures are back in print, get the people who tidied them up for you to do new ones.
